Deer Resistant Gardens

We love seeing deer wander through the landscape—we just prefer they admire the garden instead of eating it. Fern & Root designs beautiful, thoughtfully layered gardens using plants that deer are less likely to browse.

No plant is completely deer-proof, and a curious deer may sample nearly anything, but with smart plant choices and thoughtful placement, your garden can be much less tempting while remaining welcoming to pollinators, birds, and other beneficial wildlife.
